Terms of Service
Last updated: June 10, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using SermonBuilderPro ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
SermonBuilderPro is a web-based sermon management platform that provides tools for uploading, organizing, composing, and presenting sermons. The Service includes AI-powered features that require third-party API keys provided by you.
3. Account Registration
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. One person or organization per free account.
4. Your Content
You retain ownership of all content you upload or create using the Service (sermons, drafts, illustrations, etc.). We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.
5. AI Features
AI features use third-party APIs (Claude by Anthropic, OpenAI). You provide your own API keys and are responsible for costs incurred with those providers. AI-generated content is provided as suggestions and should be reviewed for accuracy.
6. Plan Limits
Each plan has defined limits (sermons, storage, AI calls, users). Exceeding limits will restrict certain actions until you upgrade or reduce usage. We will not delete content when you downgrade.
7. SMS / Text Messaging Terms
Churches and ministries using the Service may send SMS text messages to their own members and regular attenders who have opted in. Message types include service and event reminders, meeting notifications, schedule/serving reminders, and pastoral updates. Messaging is never commercial advertising to the general public.
Message frequency varies by church and season (typically 2–8 messages per month). Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan. Reply HELP to any message for help. Reply STOP at any time to cancel — opt-outs take effect immediately and automatically. Reply START to re-subscribe. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of membership, attendance, or any purchase. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. See our Privacy Policy for how mobile information is handled — opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties. Opt-in flows are documented at /sms-consent.
8. Termination
You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms or engage in abuse of the Service.
9. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for data loss, service interruptions, or AI output accuracy. You are responsible for maintaining backups of your content.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
